Anglesea Valley Lodge, also known as AVL, is set near the head of the Anglesea River and beside a national park. Its position gives groups access to a mix of bush and coastal environments within the wider Anglesea and Surf Coast region.
When this article was published in 2021, AusCamp highlighted the lodge’s connection to bushwalking, cycling, climbing, paddling, surfing and group initiatives. The surrounding landscape made it possible to combine a residential base with activities away from the property.
That flexibility was the heart of the lodge’s appeal: a group could settle into one venue while exploring different environments during its stay.
