Enquiries are not bookings
An enquiry, conversation or tentative date does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when AusCamp issues written confirmation and the organiser completes the required acceptance and payment steps.
Prices and inclusions
Prices are based on the venue, dates, group size, program, activities, staffing, catering and other agreed inclusions. Check the written proposal carefully and ask about anything that is unclear before accepting it.
Deposits and final payment
The required deposit, payment dates and accepted payment arrangements will be stated in the written booking documents. Late payment may affect AusCamp’s ability to hold dates or deliver the agreed arrangements.
Numbers and booking changes
Tell AusCamp promptly if dates, numbers, participant needs, activities or other important arrangements change. A change may affect availability, pricing, staffing, catering or the suitability of the planned experience. Changes take effect only when confirmed in writing.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation, transfer, rescheduling and refund conditions will be stated in the written booking documents. Contact AusCamp as early as possible if circumstances change. Any refund or credit will be considered under the agreed terms and rights that apply under Australian law.
Participant information and organiser responsibilities
The organiser is responsible for providing accurate, timely information that AusCamp reasonably needs to plan and deliver the stay. This may include dietary, medical, accessibility, behavioural, supervision and emergency-contact information. The organiser must also communicate relevant requirements to participants, families, leaders and guests.
Safety, conduct and instructions
Participants and visitors must follow reasonable safety directions, venue rules and activity instructions. AusCamp may change, pause or stop an activity where conditions, conduct or participant needs make that reasonably necessary.
Weather, access and activity changes
Outdoor experiences are affected by weather, access, fire danger, environmental conditions and other factors outside reasonable control. AusCamp may adjust locations, activities, timing or delivery where needed for safety or practicality and will discuss material changes with the organiser.
Damage and additional costs
The organiser may be responsible for unreasonable damage, loss or additional costs caused by participants or guests, subject to the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian consumer law.
