Accessibility Statement

AusCamp wants people to be able to find information, make an enquiry and discuss participation needs without unnecessary barriers. Accessibility is considered across the website and during planning for venues and activities.

Website accessibility

The website is designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its target. This includes keyboard access, visible focus states, readable contrast, responsive layouts, clear headings, labelled forms and alternatives for meaningful images.

Different devices and settings

The site is intended to work on current mobile, tablet and desktop browsers and to support zoom, text resizing, keyboard navigation and common assistive technologies. Individual combinations of devices and software may behave differently.

Documents and older material

Some older documents or media may not provide the same level of accessibility as the main website. Contact AusCamp if you need information in another format or have difficulty using a document.

Venue and activity access

Physical access, terrain, accommodation and activity requirements differ between AusCamp properties and programs. Share participant, leader and guest needs early so the team can discuss suitable options, limitations and adjustments before a booking is confirmed.

Getting help

If you cannot access information or complete an online enquiry, contact AusCamp by phone or email. Explain the information or task you need help with and the format that would work better for you.

Feedback

Accessibility feedback is welcome. Include the page or feature involved, what happened and the device or assistive technology you were using where relevant. This helps AusCamp investigate and improve the experience.
