Residential school camps in Victoria
Residential Programs
Residential school camps that bring accommodation, catering, outdoor activities and shared group experiences together at an AusCamp venue.
Choose a format with purpose
How this program works
A residential program gives students time to learn, participate and live together away from the usual school setting. The group stays at an AusCamp venue and follows an agreed mix of outdoor activities, shared routines, recreation and reflection.
Your school can shape the program around year level, learning priorities, budget and the practical needs of the group. Venue, accommodation, catering, staffing, activities and transport can be considered together, giving organisers one coordinated plan for the camp.
Venue and route fit
AusCamp has four Victorian properties with different settings, accommodation and activity options. The best fit depends on group size, year level, timing, travel needs and the experiences your school wants to include.

Ways to shape the experience
Activity-focused camp
Build the stay around a balanced selection of venue-based outdoor and team activities.
Learning and wellbeing camp
Combine challenge, reflection and shared routines around the outcomes that matter to your year level.
Residential and journey blend
Use a venue as the base and add a suitable walking, paddling or overnight journey component.
Charnwood Lifestyle
A Charnwood-based concept can combine hardtop accommodation, bushwalking, cycling, abseiling, environmental projects, the Maker Space and student involvement in food planning, subject to the final program.
Short Stay Snow Program
A short school snow experience can use Nillahcootie as an off-mountain base, with preparation before a supported day at Mount Buller. Dates, transport, mountain access, lessons, equipment and staffing are confirmed in the proposal.
Wild Skies Adventures
Wild Skies Adventures describes cost-conscious base camp and snow concepts built around shared school and AusCamp responsibilities. Current inclusions and pricing are prepared for the group rather than carried over from an older brochure.
